Lia arrives at a remote mountain retreat but finds herself alone there with Thomas, the quirky lodge owner. Everyone else canceled because of the upcoming snowstorm. When the temperature drops even further, he offers Claire a pair of his own woolen socks to keep warm—an invitation she accepts reluctantly at first but soon finds surprisingly comforting.
