Emma Velazquez Hongos Magicos

There are no 'bad' notes in music—only notes whose purpose has not yet been revealed by their context. A note that sounds harsh, dissonant, or unexpected on its own can become beautiful when placed within the right melody, harmony, or rhythm. Composers rely on tension and resolution, using notes that initially seem out of place to create movement, emotion, and surprise. The same note that feels wrong in one moment can become the most expressive and essential note in the next. Music is not a collection of only pleasant pitches, but a language of relationships, where meaning emerges from how various sounds interact rather than from any single note in isolation.
